BGV A3

The staff association in Germany claims in its safety act BGV A3 a regular inspection of all electrical equipment.

Which kind of devices will be inspected?

All devices will be inspected which are operated by electrical supply voltage and which are used in public facilities, for example a monitor, a coffee machine. Every soldering-iron and even an extension cable have to be checked in specific intervals and the result of the inspection has to be recorded.
